DIY :: insta-TOMS {TOMS Shoes DIY}

TGIF! I hope you had a great week and heading into a fabulous weekend! I was uber thrilled when BuzzFeed asked me to join in on the DIY TOMS fun! I’m a huge fan of TOMS, both for its cause and also because I walked endlessly in them during my trip to Spain last year and I must say, I had Happy Feet!!! The inner lining and padding were so comfy.

For this DIY, I wanted to create a pair of customized DIY TOMS that would be both meaningful and wearable. Having recently just returned from my trip to Paris, I decided to create a travel memoire on my shoes using one of my favourite instagram photos I took, creating a pair of uber cute instaTOMS! (You can see original photo in this post here).

I’m 110% happy with the final product and I can’t wait to wear them (as soon as the sun decides to peek out!). Try using multiple photos to create a travel diary on your shoes! What do you think? Would you wear these?

    WHAT! I didn’t know you made these, by looking at the first few pictures – I would DEFINITELY wear these Toms! How awesome.

      Thanks Nancy! I’m glad you approve them!!! You should try a pair of your own so simple to do! Thanks for your comment!

      Hi Zuza! You definitely can do that to your Vans! Any pair of canvas type shoe would totally work! Best of luck and show me when you’ve given it a try!

    I LOVE these so much! I’ve been wanting to try collaging on shoes for a while, and I think I’m convinced now that I have to. I wanted to try it on rain boots but I’m afraid it won’t work. Maybe I’ll try anyway 😉 Thanks for this!

    So gorgeous! Definitely going to try this – I was going to buy some printed Toms, but some cheap shoes and a few photos is definitely a cheaper (and probably prettier) option!

    Cute idea, but they don’t seem very practical. Anyway to “transfer” the image directly onto the fabric?
