HoliDIY :: Glitter “MERRY” Canvas

written by Natalie Ho 2013.11.29

TGIF Lovelies! Yes, the Christmas season is certainly upon us! The most exciting time of the year because I get an extra excuse to DIY and craft excessively, lol! Starting you off, nice and easy, today’s HoliDIY is really simple. I’ve been looking for ways to add artwork into my home this holiday season, inspired by the gold glittery thingsmg I’ve be seeing, I decided to DIY a Glitter “Merry” Canvas.

DIY Merry Glitter Canvas Print

Here’s all you need: Gold glitter paper or card stock (I bought my from The Dollar Store), scissors, a carving knife, a pad to work on, a canvas, and glue.

Steps: 1. Flip the glitter paper to it’s back side, this is easier to work with. / 2. Place the letter stencils backwards on top of the paper. / 3. Trace the letter cut out with a sharp carving knife. / 4. Use scissors to assist if need be. / 5. Pop the letters out. / 6. Glue the letters onto the canvas.

VOILA!
