DIY :: Nespresso Confetto Gift box for Coffee Lovers

written by Natalie Ho 2017.12.18

Got a Coffee Lover in your life?

We’ve ALL got a coffee lover in our lives. If you’re still racking your brain on Christmas gift ideas, here is a great last minute, yet impressive option. Gift boxes and baskets have really stepped up their game in the last several years but guess what, you too, can curate a beautiful one without having to spend hundreds of dollars.

I put together this Nespresso Confetto Coffee Lover’s gift box by combining my favourite espresso capsules from the limited edition festive collection and some accessories and treats that go hand in hand.

What You Will Need:

  • A variety of Nespresso Confetto Variations (my favourite is the Nespresso Variations Snowball (coconut) )
  • A wooden gift box
  • Festive cookies to be enjoyed with coffee
  • Fun coffee toppings
  • Coffee accessories such as:
    • mugs
    • Festive Touch Espresso Cups
    • spoon
    • coasters (I love these hand-made laser-etch Skyline Coasters)
    • capsule dispenser

There really isn’t a right or wrong way when it comes to curating a gift box. I usually start with larger items such as mugs and cups to ensure they fit securely in the box and then layering and filling the cavity in with all the extra and fun items.

To conserve space and to ensure that the capsules wouldn’t get lost, I filled the coffee mug(s) with them.

During the holiday season, I love topping my hot beverages with extra treats (see my recent Festive Holiday Coffee Recipes). For this gift box, I decided to include candy canes that can easily be crushed and thrown on top of some whipped cream and also created my own special medley of chocolate chips, toffee crunch, and nuts for that extra bit sweetness!

Though the coffee is the real star of this gift box, I also found some additional accessories to accompany them. These hand-made laser-etch Skyline Coasters so fab, they make a great gift even just on their own!

To complete the look, tuck in a few stems of fresh pine, eucalyptus, and pine cones, and top with a large bow! I guarantee that coffee lover in your life will adore this!
