Can you have enough pairs of basic sandals during the summer?
The answer is no, of course! I love pairing them with maxi dresses and they’re great to toss in my tote bag in case I decide to take a long evening stroll after work. I decided to give my two pairs of Joe Fresh sandals a dose of glam by customizing them with faux pearl beads and assorted trims. The results were awesome!

What You Will Need
- Basic Summer Sandals (I used this pair and this pair, but this one is also a great wider band option)
- Assorted Pompom trims (here, here, and here)
- Ethnic Colourful Trim (this beaded one is also super cute and it is heated glue activated)
- Faux pearl beads
- E6000 super glue
Joe Fresh recently posted some of these photos on their Instagram account and some of you have asked about where I got the supplies. I generally buy easy to source supplies from the local craft store. But for specialty items such as beaded trim and trendy patches, I order mine online at M&J Trimming. Check out my recent post on this DIY patchwork denim jacket, I got most of the patches from there too!
