Outfit :: A Pink Valentine

by Natalie Ho 2017.02.13

I love Valentine’s Day because it always gives me the excuse to dress in pink! And honestly, I also LOVE seeing all the cute heart shaped products that get released, they are all so adorable! We celebrated Valentine’s Day early this year by visiting FIGO for an amazingly delicious prix fixe brunch. If you’ve not yet visited FIGO, I highly recommend it. Not only are the cocktails and food fantastic, but the interior decor inside is on-point and so romantic.

I sported some pre-Spring items for our brunch date, including this floral dress from Joe Fresh (I linked more options below) and a crepe pastel pink blazer. I also picked up this pair of grey suede boots, I’ve been eyeing them for a while and so glad to see that they’re currently 50% off!

Outfit :: What is Old is New Again

by Natalie Ho 2016.11.30

Don’t you love it when you find something that you’ve forgotten you had in your own closet? It’s like shopping without having to spend any cash! I was digging through my closet the other day trying to locate a t-shirt when I stumbled across this vintage Dior clutch. I totally forgot I had this and honestly, I can’t even remember how I acquired it!

The thing I love most about winter fashion are all the different fabrics – faux fur, velvet, suede, you name it! My vintage Dior deserved to be paired with luxe companions, therefore I decided to bring out all three fun textures!

Outfit :: Sweater Weather

by Natalie Ho 2016.10.24

I absolutely can’t believe we’re approaching the end of October already! How time flies! I’ve been in denial in terms of admitting that it’s likely time to bring out the Winter coats. Instead, I’ve been practicing my layering skills and embracing what ‘Sweater Weather’ has to offer.

For Brunchday (and by that I mean Sunday LOL!), I layered up a thin Cold Shoulder Knit with a SUPER SOFT cardigan. If I were to give any recommendations for layering, start with less bulk and work your way up. The worst (and most uncomfortable) approach is starting with something too loose and chunky underneath, creating what I call, ‘fat armpits’.

Outfit :: Stepping into Fall

by Natalie Ho 2016.10.04

Wearing OTK boots to the office can be a bit delicate. If not paired appropriately, the whole look can back fire, and well truthfully, it can go from classy to sleazy too quickly! The key to pairing your over-the-knee boots in the workplace is to find a dress with a conservative length and (trendy) cut. This dress is by far one of my most favourite purchases this season, it has the perfect mini bell sleeves that is currently trending and exhibits a slightly loose but structured cut that allows for layering of a dress shirt underneath without adding extra bulk. And as the weather starts to cool down even more, it can been paired with slim pants and a knit turtleneck that makes a smooth transition into winter. A super great buy in my opinion!

DIY :: Tasselled Gladiator Sandals

by Natalie Ho 2016.08.19

I’ve always been a fan of Gladiator style sandals. I remember when I visited Greece last year, I saw a huge variety of styles. Athens and Santorini offered styles that reminded me of ancient Greece meanwhile, on the swanky island of Mykonos, boutiques were carrying sandals that were embellished with colour beading, fringes, pom pom trims, and tassels.

I’ve been seeing a variety of embellished styles pop up all over Instagram, most of them, designed and decorated by talented artists and fashionistas. So naturally, I had to attempt a pair myself. I picked up these gold Gladiator Sandals from LE CHATEAU last month and finally had the chance to embellish them!

Outfit :: Military Chic

by Natalie Ho 2016.06.21

I love having a bit of fun and breaking rules when it comes to fashion. I can’t say that I’ve got a particular go-to style or preference in colours or prints when it comes to styling an outfit. I’d like to think of myself as someone that won’t be shy to try on a new trend or pair unusual items together. I typically make my outfit decisions on the fly when I get up in the morning, as it’ll honestly depend on my mood, the weather, and how much lead time I’ve got!

On this particular day,  I wanted to break the rules and wear joggers to the office. These pull up slim leg jogger pants with drawstring at the waist from I ♥ Tyler Madison (use code nh25 for 25% off) was just what I was looking for. They are overly comfortable and when worn with a romantic blouse and blush coloured draped vest, no one can barely tell they’re of a casual style.

Outfit :: On Top of the World

by Natalie Ho 2016.06.10

Happy Friday!! The beauty of having an office with a rooftop terrace is that you can take a break and enjoy a breath of fresh air despite a super busy day. We recently moved offices and it was incredible that we were able to find a building with an exclusive outdoor terrace space just for us! Every Friday, we all get together and enjoy a few casual drinks on the top floor. Ever since we started LOGiQ3, company culture was a priority. “Patio Fridays” were one of the first social events and I’m so proud to say that this informal employee gathering is still going strong after 10 years!

On busy days that require running from meeting to meeting, I prefer to keep my comfort level at bay. Luckily for our casual attire policy, I am able to put together an outfit such as this one. I love to mix feminine pieces with a slightly edgy look. Pairing this delicate floral dress with a double buckle belt and a simple leather strapped chunky heeled sandal is just the perfect combo.

Outfit :: Sparkly Mules and the Most Coveted Summer Shoes

by Natalie Ho 2016.05.25

I was asked to style an evening look for LE CHÂTEAU’s 2016 Spring/Summer Footwear Lookbook alongside with four other Toronto blogger babes a couple of weeks ago. I was charged to create a look that was a reflection of my own style. Most of you know that I spend most of my time at the office or travelling for business, therefore, it has always been important for me to find transitional outfits.

When it comes to a statement shoe, you definitely want to give it the spotlight that it deserves. I opted for a simple, yet classic sleeveless shirtdress with a playful cut that is office appropriate to accompany these sparkly mules which can be easily slipped on and off. It’s the perfect day to evening ensemble.

Outfit :: Sliding into Spring

by Natalie Ho 2016.05.10

I purchased this maxi dress weeks ago and haven’t had the chance to wear it, I was so glad when the weather finally cooperated over the last weekend! I love wearing maxi dresses because they can make a short girl (me) that much taller! This dress, as well as pretty much all my maxi dresses was about a foot longer when I first purchased it, therefore I took it to the seamstress to have her work a bit of her magic. Trust me, taking your most favourite items to get fitted is well worth it.

Outfit :: Flared Denim and Lace Ups

by Natalie Ho 2016.04.05

Exploring the city is one of my favourite weekend past times. I love discovering new pastry shops and boutiques, it’s one of the perks of living just steps away from the Downtown Toronto. I was lucky enough to sport this Spring outfit just before snow hit the ground, can you believe winter decided to pay us a late visit?

I’m pretty excited that the 70’s trend is back and totally smitten by these cropped, frayed AND flared denim that I snatched up. Paired alongside with these lace-up sandals from Le Chateau (under $70!), can I say I’m totally ready to make an appearance of an episode of The Vinyl! A special thanks to Aney and Vicki for snapping photos of me as if I had a personal paparazzi! Thanks ladies!

I also want to thank each one of you who took the time to read my last post. It took me nearly a decade to build up the courage to share my experience with Alopecia. I’m so grateful for all your comments on Instagram and hope that my story can heal some of you who are personally going through this or have a loved one that requires some emotional support.
