Though this little boy is still growing in my belly, I already feel all sorts of mom feels! I’m mentally and emotionally preparing myself for mom life and so, even though he’s not quite ready to say hello to the world yet, this Mother’s Day is a special one because it’s one that is preparing me for motherhood and therefore, definitely worth celebrating.

I shopped the best and affordable pieces to create a beautiful Spring table setting that is 100% Easter appropriate! K, I’m SO stoked about this post because I’m finally sharing the gender of our little mini!!! Are you guys ready?! Drum roll….WE’RE HAVING A BOY!!!  Majority of you guessed girl…

We officially announced our pregnancy a couple of weeks ago (woohoo!) and first off, I want to say THANK YOU to all of you for the well wishes and kind words! We are so overwhelmed with joy by them and it’s so amazing to see how many of our family, friends, and insta-friends were rooting for us!

Admittedly, I’m not the most adventurous when it comes to eye makeup looks. I’ve always found it difficult to work with my monolids and to be frank, my lids (just like the rest of my T-zone) which are also on the oilier side causing eye shadows to slip and rub off. But I must say, over the last several years, I’ve had the opportunity to sample so many great makeup products and this has certainly encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone (one baby step at a time with neutral and matte tones for the eyes).

I always manage to catch a flu or cold at the tail end of the year and it takes me a solid couple of weeks to recover. It’s honestly dreadful and I’m so glad I’ve finally bounced back! Catching a cold or flu during the winter months is inevitable and while you take the time to mend your health on the inside, what about recovering on the outside?

Hello friends! Wow, it’s been nearly a month since I’ve published a blog post, it’s the LONGEST hiatus I’ve ever taken in the history of my blogging journey. I took a much needed break because I was battling a bad cold for three weeks and I’m so thrilled that I’m finally back up and running!

In between my coughs and sneezes, I did however manage to work on a super fun project with the orvda in transforming a plain, simple RV into a home away from home! This was just the perfect project to kick off 2019 as I am looking forward to bringing you all more home and decor content this year.
